CTE TeacherUnder the direction of the Principal, the CTE Teacher provides high-quality, competency-based instruction within the Health Science & Medical Technology Industry Sector. The CTE Teacher prepares students for careers and post-secondary pathways in health science by providing engaging, industry-aligned instruction that combines academic learning, hands-on experiences, and practical employability skills. The teacher creates a supportive and well-managed learning environment, monitors student progress, and works collaboratively with staff and families to support student success.Valid CTE credential in Health Science and Medical Technology required Three years of work experience directly related to appropriate industry sector Relevant industry education, training, certifications, and/or professional experience sufficient to demonstrate proficiency in the subject area being taught Valid CA driver's license and acceptable driving record is required Experience working with high school students and/or teaching in a CTE or related educational setting preferred DOJ/FBI fingerprint clearance requiredAll of the following supporting documentation must be scanned and attached with your online application: Valid California Designated Subjects Career Technical Education (CTE) Teaching Credential in Health Science & Medical Technology Letter of Introduction specifically written for this recruitment Two (2) Letters of Recommendation Resume Verification of relevant industry experience in Health Science & Medical Technology Transcripts and/or relevant industry certifications, licenses, or training, as applicableWhy Join O'Farrell?
